Seven thoughtful things to consider

Deconstructing leverage, counterparty risk, and capital allocation in resource enterprises.

QUESTION 01

Asset ownership versus a company share

Physical gold represents tangible personal property; private shares represent a residual claim on corporate assets after senior creditors are satisfied.

QUESTION 02

Spot price exposure versus operational risk

A high spot price does not protect an investor if recovery grades fall below technical estimates or equipment downtime halts milling.

QUESTION 03

Storage costs versus mining costs

Bullion incurs modest vaulting and insurance fees; mining ventures require continuous capital expenditure (CapEx) to sustain throughput.

QUESTION 04

Potential dividends are not guaranteed

Unlike bond yields or interest, corporate dividends are strictly discretionary and subject to board approval and working capital needs.

QUESTION 05

Liquidity and resale restrictions

Sovereign coins and bars can be liquidated immediately at spot-spread; private securities often require finding a qualified buyer subject to company consent.

QUESTION 06

Counterparty and legal risks

Evaluate the integrity of corporate officers, operational management track records, and jurisdiction court enforceability.

QUESTION 07

Ways to verify marketing representations

Cross-check marketing claims against official regulatory filings, technical QPs (Qualified Persons), and audited accounts.

Simple share guide · Updated October 14, 2026

How many shares come with each package?

Think of shares like pieces of a company. Aureus currently advertises $100 for each paid share. Some packages add extra bonus shares. You register and review any purchase on Aureus itself.

Current advertised paid-share price$100 per paid shareCheck latest company offer ↗

🌟 A simple example

Imagine you choose a box with 5 paid shares. Aureus advertises 6 extra bonus shares with that package. You would receive 11 shares in total, subject to Aureus's terms. A bonus share means an additional share, not extra cash.

📘 What does “$1,000 par value” mean?

Your certificate uses $1,000 par value per ordinary share. Par value is a stated legal or accounting figure for the share class. It is not the cash you receive, a resale price, or proof a $100 purchase is worth $1,000. We have not confirmed that your certificate's par-value designation applies to all current package shares. Verify the share class and terms directly with Aureus.

🧭 The easy path
